What comes in the box?
We're the only meal kit company to deliver chef-made mains, sauces and garnishes alongside fresh veg for you to add at home.

How to prepare your meals?
Our meal kits are designed to be quick and easy, with the majority of the mains, chef-made sauces, marinades, and dressings already pre-made, along with fresh vegetables and grains for you to add at home.
Most of our recipes do require cooking in pans, and, on occasion, an oven. Depending on the recipe, you may need to steam or boil vegetables such as kale and grains. Sauté and fry tofu and other vegetables such as broccoli, pak choi, and cauliflower. You can view some of our cooking instructions here.

Do you offer single-person meal boxes?
The minimum box we offer is for 2 Persons with 3 Meals. Many of our customers who are single order the 2-person box and divide the meals throughout the week. Each meal kit comes with a best-before date, typically ranging from 3 to 5 days from the delivery date

Do you offer a 3-person box?
We only offer meal boxes with either two or four-person portions, with 3, 4, or 5-meals.Our 2 person box is usually suitable for 2 adults however it may work for 2 adults and one child (our portions are quite generous!), depending on age and appetite! Our 4-person box is suitable for 4 adults or 2 adults and 2-3 children.
The best thing would be to try out one of the sizes and then you can upgrade or downgrade anytime to find what’s right for you.

If I subscribe, can I cancel?
Of course, there is no commitment and no cancellation fees. You have total flexibility to skip weeks or cancel your subscription from your online account anytime after your first order.

Cancelling your subscription will cancel future order renewals, not orders that have already been placed/processed.

Please note: You will need to make any changes before your cut off point (midday four days before your upcoming delivery e.g. Thursday midday for Monday delivery or Sunday midday for Thursday delivery).

Are all your ingredients organic?
We use a lot of organic ingredients but we are not 100% organic. Our goal is to get as many people to eat plant-based as possible and unfortunately fully organic makes this difficult.
While the majority of our product is not organic, our menu is designed seasonally, so the vast majority of our fresh produce is locally sourced and we do prioritise small-scale growers who use sustainable farming techniques wherever possible.

Where can I find nutritional and allergen information?
We do provide the nutritional breakdown for each meal, you just need to click on the meal and the total calories, fat, carbs, protein, fibre, as well as the Ingredients and Allergens will show.
The nutrition information provided is based on a per-serving amount. If you order a 2 person box, then 2 servings of a meal are provided. The nutrition will only reflect one serving or half of the entire meal.

Do you offer gluten-free meal options?
Absolutely! At Planthood, we offer gluten-free meal options to cater to various dietary preferences and needs. Each week, at least half of our menu is gluten-free, indicated by the 'Gluten Free' icon on the meal images.
However, please note that while we take great care to provide gluten-free options, our kitchen handles allergens such as CELERY, SOYA, GLUTEN, NUTS, MUSTARD, SESAME SEEDS, SULPHITES. As a result, we cannot guarantee that our meals are completely free from trace amounts of these allergens. Therefore, we advise customers with serious allergies to these ingredients to exercise caution when consuming our products.
