About Planthood
We're Planthood, one of the fastest growing health food companies in the UK. Our mission is to help people live healthier lives and have a meaningful impact on the planet, by eating more plant-based whole foods. We do this from our own London kitchen, where we cook up irresistibly delicious food and deliver it to thousands of customers across the UK every week.
Since launching from Hilary & Will’s kitchen in 2020, the company has now cooked up over 4 million meals, featured on BBC Dragons’ Den and grown by over 300% year on year. We’re now looking for hungry and ambitious people who share our vision and values, to join our team at this exciting time in our journey.
Planthood is more than a brand; it’s a growing community of healthy eating, culture, and creativity. We believe the strongest brands are built through real relationships, shared values, and genuine conversation – online and offline.
The Role
We’re looking for a Social & Community Manager to lead how Planthood shows up across social platforms and to help nurture a meaningful, engaged community around the brand. This role sits at the intersection of content, creators, and culture.
You’ll be responsible not just for managing channels, but for a growing network of creators and community partners who authentically align with Planthood. You’ll also help shape how our community comes together offline – through events, activations, and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day social channels, including posting, scheduling, and engagement.
- Build, nurture, and manage a community of creators aligned with the Planthood brand.
- Develop relationships with creators and community partners, both organic and paid.
- Support brand and performance goals through organic and paid community partnerships and collaborations.
- Work closely with brand, creative and performance teams to align community content with campaigns.
- Monitor social trends, conversations, and cultural moments relevant to the brand.
- Analyse and report on social media performance to inform and support creative and channel strategies.
- Respond to comments and messages in a thoughtful, on-brand, human tone.
- Support the planning and delivery of offline community activations as the brand grows.
- Help identify opportunities for events, pop-ups, or partnerships that bring the community together in real life.
About You
Experience managing social media and/or community for a brand or platform.
Strong understanding of creator culture and social ecosystems.
Comfortable working with creators on both organic and paid collaborations.
Organised and confident, managing multiple partnerships and conversations at once.
Excellent written communication and instinctive understanding of brand voice.
Excited by the idea of building community beyond the screen.
Passionate about food, culture, creativity, or purpose-led brands.
Why Join Us
Play a key role in shaping and growing the Planthood community.
Work closely with brand, creative, and performance teams.
Opportunity to build a creator network from the ground up.
Long-term scope to develop an offline community and real-world experiences.
