About Planthood

We are the highest rated and one of the fastest growing health food companies in the UK. Our mission is to help people live healthier lives and have a meaningful impact on the planet by eating more plant-based, whole foods. We do this from our own London kitchen, where we cook up irresistibly delicious food and deliver it to thousands of customers across the UK every week.

Since launching from Hilary & Will’s kitchen in 2020, the company has now cooked up over 4 million meals, featured on BBC Dragons’ Den and grown by over 300% year on year. We’re now looking for hungry and ambitious people who share our vision and values to join our team at this exciting time in our journey.

About The Role

We are in an exciting period of expanding our creative team and are looking for a passionate and commercially-minded Videographer to be part of our journey.

In this role, you will create social-first video content across all channels – owning everything from shooting through to multiple algorithm-beating edits. You’ll sit at the intersection of creative, performance marketing, and storytelling, crafting content that drives both customer acquisition and long-term brand loyalty.

From high-performing paid social ads to mini brand films, you’ll develop our visual tone of voice that delivers across formats – long-form (YouTube/TV) through to cutdowns for paid and organic social. Working closely with our Creative Director, Brand, and Growth teams, you’ll shape how Planthood shows up across every platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end video content creation to delivery across paid and organic channels.
  • Work with the Creative Strategist to high-performing video creatives for Meta, Google/YouTube, and TikTok with a strong focus on hooks, pacing, and retention.
  • Work with the Creative & Brand teams to create and edit highly engaging organic storytelling content.
  • Explore different editing techniques, optimising content based on performance data, audience behaviour, and platform algorithms.
  • Direct, shoot, and edit content in our East London studio, test kitchen, and on location, including monthly menu and food shoots.
  • Apply colour grading, sound design, and finishing to a premium standard.
  • Maintain organised media workflows, asset libraries, and efficient production processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Brand and Growth teams to align creative with business objectives.

Who you are:

Requirements

  • Experienced in creating both high quality and LoFi social video content.
  • Proven track record of creating video content that engages audiences on social platforms (e.g. Meta, YouTube).
  • Expert video editor (Premiere Pro or similar) with a strong understanding of how to keep audiences engaged.
  • Strong portfolio across organic social, paid ads and brand storytelling.
  • Excellent eye for composition, lighting and motion.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with ownership over both creative and performance outcomes.

Desirable

  • Experience in D2C, ideally within food, wellness, or subscription brands.
  • Strong interest in premium/luxury brand storytelling and culturally relevant content.
  • Awareness of documentary-style storytelling, particularly within food, health, or environmental spaces.
  • Motion graphics or basic animation skills.

Why Join Us

  • Work closely with senior leadership across Brand and Growth to shape high-impact, multi-channel content.
  • Lead a mix of performance marketing and premium brand storytelling projects.
  • Play a key role in defining how Planthood shows up across all video channels.
  • Opportunity to grow with a fast-moving brand at the intersection of food, health, and culture.
